Since the relaunch of the label in January 2009 Infectious Music (version 2.0), a UK-based independent record label first formed in 1993, has been making waves in the Alternative music world. In its former incarnation Infectious housed a handful of the worlds most adored artists, including Ash, Garbage, Pop Will Eat Itself, Cable, Muse, Funeral for Friend and many others. Though much has changed since these early days, the 'hands on, feet up' approach to music (and furniture) continues to inspire the label, a bespoke music company who serve terrific new artists with flare and a point of difference.
Infectious is currently home to alt-J, RY X, Drenge, DMA’S, The Sherlocks, Haelos, These New Puritans, Ash and Charlie Cunningham, and has an enviable catalogue of past artists and releases from the last ten years. Now part of the BMG family of labels, Infectious remains at its core a small artist-based label who value creativity and intuition.
